About me

My name is Dr. Janne Rodsten.  I hold a Professional Doctorate from the University of the West of England in Bristol, and am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.

I have over 8 years' experience of working with people professionally, delivering therapeutic services in the private sector, community,

in-patient services and the NHS.  I have an interest in providing therapy which is specifically designed to help clients meet their well-being goals in the here and now.

I consider the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommendations in my work where these are applicable to the problems clients may experience.  In addition to my therapeutic work, I have skills and experience in specialist psychological assessment, and interventions with complex clients.  I draw on a range of psychological approaches, interventions and theories, and consider myself to be an integrative therapist - this means the therapy will always be tailored to your individual wishes and needs.

I am registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I am also registered as a practitioner psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
